Railscales has officially announced the release of its Scout Pro Hardtop mount, a sleek and lightweight mounting solution designed specifically for Surefire’s Pro light series. This new offering enhances the functionality of Surefire’s Pro rotating light bodies by delivering a reversible, compact design with notable adjustment capabilities.
Crafted to use just one M-LOK slot, the Scout Pro Hardtop™ mount provides users with 0.788 inches of fore and aft adjustment, making it easier to position the light exactly where it’s needed. Designed for compatibility with Railscales’ XOS-H series of scales, the Hardtop offers a lightweight alternative to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) mount while still maintaining Surefire’s standard of durability. With a weight of just 0.42 ounces, it’s slightly lighter than the OEM model but delivers the same reliable performance.
Key features of the Hardtop mount include up to 210 degrees of rotation and a 0.788-inch offset, allowing users greater flexibility in positioning their lights. The mount reuses the Z93 shoulder bolt that comes standard with Surefire’s PRO series lights, making it easy to integrate into existing setups. The Scout Pro Hardtop is available in two finishes, Carbon Black® and Terra Bronze®, ensuring a rugged, corrosion-resistant design.
