Smith & Wesson recently released a new edition to the celebrated M&P 2.0 series with a new Performance Center Metal M&P9 M2.0 featuring a sleek OD Green Cerakote finish. The new M&P pistol features a threaded barrel with a Faxon compensator to reduce felt recoil and allow for less muzzle rise and quicker follow-up shots. The new metal frame pistol also comes optics-ready with suppressor height sights, a karambit knife, and a challenge coin. The new M&P M2.0 comes with two 23-round magazines and two 17-round magazines.

Upgraded features integrated into this Spec Series pistol include a built-in Faxon© compensator to mitigate felt re-coil and muzzle rise, custom lightening cuts in the slide to reduce weight and improve reliability while being compensated, an enhanced sear for a lighter, crisp trigger let-off, suppressor height sights, and a sharp OD Green Cerakote© finish. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
